- A machine for ironing laundry by passing it between heated rollers
The pressure on the wet and wrinkled fabric can flatten the fabric or on the contrary, it can create a deep crease on it, which remains for a long time.
This is the pressure we endure every day. No one in any part of the world is unaffected by these pressures and each person changes differently under its influence. Some turn into diamonds but from within, it is more scratched than one can describe it as diamond, and sometimes it turns us into a seemingly worthless piece of coal that can illuminate our inner self with its healing heat.
The commonalities of the human race in the pressures it faces are more than its points of difference, and many of those differences have strong roots in geographic determinism.
This determinism includes all issues, the existence or non-existence of which has the greater impact on the quality of life and choices, despite being beyond our control.
We cannot choose our parents, race, skin color, economic and social class of our family at birth, time of birth, language, and country in which we are born. But all of the above-mentioned points have a direct effect on our welfare, entertainment, deficiencies and complexities, the feeling of being loved or rejected, and the security we feel.
But life is not always out of our control, and this may lead to responsibility and freedom.
However, this path always remains uneven with the ups and downs of determinism.
The common part of the two paths of being the constant surrender to determinism or attempting to take control of one's life as much as possible is pressure.
We encounter this concept repeatedly in both directions, and this word, despite being considered undesirable, is a way to challenge the repetitive loop of life and make one stronger.
